Factoring and Credit

Factoring is the source of obtaining revolving funds. It is a great tool for companies who needs a quick release of funds frozen in issued invoices, which they will be able to spend on current operations (eg increasing production).

The awarding procedure for factoring is much faster than in granting the loan, and the entrepreneur is free to use the funds received. An enterprise that wants to get a loan must have been operating on the market for several years and have assets that will be collateral.

In factoring, invoices issued constitute a security. The main difference between factoring and a loan is taking over responsibility for the insolvency of contractors. For a loan, the risk of insolvency remains with the entrepreneur, whereas in full factoring it is transferred to the factor due to the contract of insurance of receivables.

Factoring is a great solution for companies that...

DEFERRED TERMS OF PAYMENTS APPLY TO.
THAT OPERATE IN MARKETS WHERE LONG DURATION PAYMENT PERIODS ARE REQUIRED.
THAT NEED FINANCIAL AGENTS TO INCREASE PRODUCTION.

Non-recourse factoring:

Non-recourse factoring in Coface is more than just funding short-term receivables. We offer our clients up to 100% protection of the granted credit limit.

It is a tool for companies that want to increase their financial liquidity and protect against the risk of contractors' insolvency. The advantage of full factoring in Coface is the significant inhibition of increases in short-term liabilities.

Recourse factoring:

Recourse factoring (incomplete) in Coface is a perfect solution for customers who already have a receivables insurance policy because thanks to the combination of these two products, the client transfers obligations related to payment monitoring and reporting overdue receivables to the benefit holder, while retaining all benefits from the receivables insurance.

Factoring with recourse allows you to finance short-term receivables before maturity. Coface recommends the use of recourse factoring to clients who cooperate with known contractors, as well as in a situation where they have a dispersed structure of recipients. Factoring without taking over responsibility is the most popular form of financing corporate receivables in Poland. It is connected with smaller formalities when granting credit limits than in the case of full factoring.  This does not mean, however, that the factor does not support his client when recovering unpaid receivables. Coface provides expert support in the field of debt recovery and pursuing its claims. In addition, Coface verifies new contractors who are to be included in the factoring agreement.
